Hello lovely ladies!
Let’s break Monday monotony by talking about the small things in life that bring us joy – like that first sip of coffee in the morning – oh! It fills me with life!
Or that cute little puppy who tries to follow you down the street.
Or that lingering glance over my bedside table to find it stacked with new skincare finds – one of them being Kaya Youth Advance Retinoboost Serum – my latest retinol serum from Kaya Skin Clinic.
If you’re a skincare connoisseur, you know when it comes to aging skin, retinol is the gold standard. It is one of the best-studied skincare ingredients and the most highly recommended anti-aging product by dermatologists across the world.
So, when I learned about the launch of this new retinol serum by Kaya Skin Clinic, my favorite skincare brand, I got really excited to try it. I am not new to retinoids. I’ve used retinol many times before. Only recently I finished a bottle of The Derma Co 2% grano active retinoid serum.
And I do intend to use it again but before that, I’m going to try Kaya Retinoboost serum and who knows after using Kaya I don’t get back to The Derma Co again! Without further ado, let’s go straight to my review of Kaya retinoboost serum and its results.
Kaya Youth Advance Retinoboost Serum Review
Describe the brand in three words
Dermatologically Tested. Indian.
What is it?
An anti-aging face serum with retinol.
What retinoid category does the product falls into?
In fact, this retinol serum is so gentle that I used it every night for one full week without any sign of irritation or breakouts.
What form of vitamin A (I.e., Retinol, retinoate, retinyl palmitate, etc.) is in the product?
Retinol. Made from vitamin A, retinol boosts the production of collagen in your skin making it taut and plump, while also increasing cell turnover to reveal fresher younger looking skin.
Who is it for?
Anyone looking for the extra boost that retinol gives but older skins will notice the benefits sooner with more dramatic results (as is the case with most retinol products). So people who are facing dull skin and fine lines due to life stresses should benefit the most from this serum.
What’s in it?
Kaya Retinoboost Serum is a potent combination of Matrixyl 3000 (peptides), Retinol, Niacinamide, and Hyaluronic Acid.
What’s not in it?
Mineral oil, parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
Does it contain possibly acne/allergy causing in any ingredient?
How does it smell?
A mild floral scent that is pleasing to the senses.
Air-tight, pump dispenser in an attractive white and purple glass bottle.
How do you use it?
Apply only a few drops of the product on cleansed face and neck massaging in an upward and downward direction.
Where in your skincare routine?
The brand says to use it AM and PM in your skincare routine. But I would suggest you use it around bedtime as retinols are known to make your skin more sun sensitive. Also, be diligent with your sun protection during the day to keep your newer skin intact.
What’s good about it?
First, it’s from Kaya Skin Clinic, a brand specially developed and tested by dermatologists for Indian skin concerns.
Second, along with retinol, it’s formulated with well-researched and proven anti-aging actives like peptides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. Niacinamide, on its own, is known to help strengthen weakened skin, and improve enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, and fine lines.
Add to that the peptides and hyaluronic acid and you can see the goal of this serum and why younger people won’t benefit much from this. Where peptides make the skin firm and tight, the hyaluronic acid in this serum deeply hydrates and moisturizes mature skin making it plump and radiant.
What’s not so good about it?
Price. The bottle could have been bigger with more product given the hefty price tag.
Would I repurchase or buy it again?
Yes. Because it is gentle on the skin, has an appeasing fragrance, and works great for old skin.
Do you need this?
Yes, if you have any of the following concerns:
- Signs of stress or a tired-looking face
- Dull and dehydrated skin
- Uneven skin tone
- Fine lines and wrinkles
You don’t need this if:
- You’re young with healthy, normal skin
- You’re in your late 20s or early 30s with a good lifestyle and eating habits
My Personal Experience with the Product
Being a retinol enthusiast, I have used a lot of retinol products both over-the-counter and prescription ones. Some were good, some were okay and some turned out to be really horrible ones causing irritation and break-outs.
But I think this retinol serum has turned out to be my favorite one to date. The way it has suited my skin seems to me like it’s made for my face and my current life stresses. Each night I use it, I wake up with a very nice soft glow on my face. My skin has got incredibly calmer and any redness and blemishes I had, seem to be fading away.
While nothing can compare with prescription retinol, if your skin is not quite ready for that, Kaya youth advance retinoboost face serum is a great way to go in the meantime.
If you’ve found my review of Kaya Youth Advance Retinoboost Serum to be useful, please like and comment on my post.

Sensex Today: Indian equity markets on Monday amid strong global cues and steady foreign inflows had a gap-up opening on the cards. The Sensex was up 511.45 points or 0.85 per cent at 60471.30, and the Nifty was up 147.80 points or 0.83 per cent at 17934.60.
HUL, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Infosys, Tata Motors and Tech Mahindra were among major gainers on the Nifty, while only loser is NTPC.
V K Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Financial Services, said: “Technically the market is poised to continue the ongoing rally aided by support from the mother market US where the Dow’s 828 points rally last Friday recorded fourth straight week of gains. The driving force behind the ongoing rally is the strength of the US economy which is indicating a lower probability of an immediate US recession and, more importantly, indications that inflation is plateauing and might show a declining trend soon. This might enable the FED to slightly moderate their hawkish stance. Already central banks of Canada and Australia have hiked rates below expectations. If this trend spreads, that will favour continuation of the rally in the short-term.”
The fact that FPIs have turned buyers during the last 2 days is another positive. However, DIIs might sell at higher levels since valuations are high, he added.
Asian stock markets climbed cautiously on Monday amid hopes that the Federal Reserve might sound less aggressive about rate hikes this week, while wheat prices leapt after Russia withdrew from a pact allowing Ukrainian grain to transit the Black Sea.
On Friday, the US markets clocked strong gains amid hopes of slower rate hikes and healthy corporate earnings. All three major indexes in Wall Street – Dow Jones, the S&P 500, and NASDAQ Composite gained over 2 per cent each.
On the commodities front, prices of Brent Crude climbed 0.1 per cent to $95 per barrel and WTI Crude was up 0.2 per cent to $88 per barrel.

What does a crooked nose look like?
The crooked nose shows a deviated front, not regular from the classic “C” shape or, in more striking cases, to “S”. The asymmetry is in most cases correlated to a deviation of the nasal septum which involves problems of a nature as well as aesthetic, even functional.
What are the main causes of a crooked nose?
Crooked nose due to the presence of asymmetries. This situation manifests itself in a very typical way with changes in light and usually causes “optical” deviations, ie the central axis of the nose is not exactly crooked but it seems so. Wing cartilages that are asymmetrical in size or position or depressions and bulges on the side walls of the nose are typical situations that cause this condition.
Crooked nose due to the presence of deviations of the nasal septum. In these cases, the central axis of the nose is really deviated because the inner wall of the nose or nasal septum (not to be confused with the bridge of the nose) will present different deformities (high deviations, in C, in S or more complex) and will drag the tip and / or the back on one side or the other, producing its deviation. A deviated nose can be accompanied by breathing problems.
How to correct a crooked nose?
To correct a crooked nose, it is necessary to undergo rhinoplasty in Delhi or septoplasty depending on the case.
If the deviation is evident, it will be sufficient to correct the asymmetries of the anatomy (position and size of the alar cartilages, columella or back). Sometimes cartilage or fat grafts are needed to supplement deficient tissues that cannot be corrected by modeling. If the patient has previously undergone septoplasty, grafts should be made using cartilage from the ear or a rib.
If the deviation is real, it will be necessary to approach the nasal septum directly to straighten it. The most crooked areas can be removed and used as grafts that “support” the repair and prevent new drift. If the real deviation is not dealt with, it will only be a matter of time before it reappears.
The deviation can also be mixed, incorporating asymmetrical zones and a deviated septum at the same time.
One of the most complicated aspects of rhinoplasty in South Delhi is the correction of a crooked nose. However, if it is diagnosed and treated correctly, good results can be achieved. The choice of the type of anesthesia or the type of rhinoplasty (open or closed) will depend on the repair to be performed and the steps required. If you want more information on how a rhinoplasty is performed, you can consult best plastic surgeon in South Delhi.
Why undergo a rhinoplasty?
One of the reasons patients undergo a rhinoplasty is due to a crooked or deviated nose. Unlike other areas of the face, where asymmetries can go unnoticed, the nose very easily reflects the presence of asymmetries or deviations. The nose can be real or apparent crooked over the years, after a rhinoplasty or due to traumatic causes. Identifying the reasons why a nose is crooked (or appears to be crooked) is very important to the success of rhinoplasty. The analysis of each case must be done during a physical exam by plastic surgeon in East of Kailash as photographs can falsify the case, making it worse or better depending on how the light hits the patient.
Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav has said that senior party leader Mohd. Azam Khan was paying the price of opposing communal forces.
Reacting to the disqualification of Azam Khan from the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, following his conviction in a hate speech case, Akhilesh added that the recent development was an example of revenge politics.
“Azam Khan has worked to ensure quality education for youth in Rampur and adjoining districts. His Jauhar University has been constantly targeted by the BJP since it came to power. As Minister, Azam Khan successfully organised the Kumbh Mela and the event subsequently became a subject for Harvard University study wherein his efforts were lauded. The Harvard University had even invited Azam Khan to give a presentation on it This has not gone down well with the BJP,” the SP Chief said in a statement.
Akhilesh said Azam’s role in setting up a top-class institute for higher education — Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar University — for youth of Rampur and adjoining region also worried the BJP, which is only interested in disrupting the education system in the state.
He accused the BJP of misusing government tools to demolish Jauhar university.
“BJP is determined to destroy the educational institute and hence, heaped false cases on Azam Khan. It has hatched a conspiracy against Azam Khan to find a way out to duck his pointed fact-based questions that would have exposed the saffron party over the prevailing disruption in the education system, Akhilesh said.
“Azam Khan has been bearing the brunt for strongly opposing and challenging communal forces inside the Assembly and Parliament and outside as well to secure the secular credentials of Indian Constitution. The BJP, it seems, has gone into an overdrive to target him in every possible way,” he added.
He said, “It is Azam Khan’s unflinching commitment towards a democratic, socialist and secular set-up that the BJP has taken exception to.”
The SP Chief said BJP must remember that there is no space for vendetta in politics as both the government and the Opposition have a common goal of ensuring good governance.
“Azam Khan has been a 10-time MLA, three-time MP and has served the Uttar Pradesh government as Minister during different regimes and efforts to sideline him in politics will only expose the BJP,” Akhilesh added.
