Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has announced that the people belonging to the nomadic caste who have been occupying the land for 20 years will be given ownership rights. Till March 31, 2000, the land on which the people of the nomadic caste have lived for 20 years and they have any kind of proof, then the government will give that land to them. The condition for this is that the land should not be more than 200 yards and some payment will be taken for this. Apart from this, people from the nomadic caste identified through Parivar Pehchan Patra, whose income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh per annum, will also be given houses through the Housing for All Department.
On Wednesday, the Chief Minister made these announcements after listening to the problems of the representatives of the nomadic castes at the Janata Darbar at the Chief Minister’s residence Kabir Kutir. The Chief Minister said that the Haryana Government is uplifting the very poor families. So far 2.5 lakh families have come to the fairs under the Chief Minister Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana. Out of these, loans of 40,000 families have been sanctioned. In online schemes, special attention will be given to common service centers to remove the problems of the portal.
Formation of 5-member committee to make permanent solution of Bhakra displaced
