Rajasthani Paush Bada/Vada or Posh Bada is a vada or fried fritters made using mixed lentils and spices. It is one of the famous Badas from Jaipur the Pink City in Rajasthan. This Badas are generally made during the months of December and January (paush ka maheena ). One can even call them Mix Dal Vada.

Recipe name- Paush Vada
Preparing time- 15 minutes ( soaking time extra )
Cooking time-5-7 minutes
Servings-4 persons

Chawla Ki Dal( white Lobiya dal )-1 cup
Moong da- 2 tbsp
Chana Dal- 1 tbsp
Green chilly-2-3 medium
Ginger-2 inch
Green coriander -1 handful
Salt-to taste
Black pepper-15-20 piece
Cloves-2-3 piece
Whole coriander seeds-1.5 tbsp
Cumin-1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds- 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida-1/4 tsp
Oil for deep frying
Chilly flakes-1 tsp
Chilly powder-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
