Cassey Ho: Pilates Instructor & The Brains Behind Blogilates…


Producing suggestive and risqué content is a ridiculously sure fire way for young, attractive female fitness bloggers and YouTubers to gain plenty of hits, likes and views. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out that their audience consists of a large percentage of drooling male followers rather than loyal female fans.

Fitness blogger and YouTuber Cassey Ho of Blogilates fame is young, attractive and…female yet her huge and ever growing fan base is made up of predominantly women, which she estimates makes up 96% of her followers. Why? Her legions of loyal female fans seek inspiration not titillation.

The 25 year old delivers her pilates based content with a touch of her trademark chirpy style which takes nothing away from the substance of her work. Even if your a beginner or an advanced practitioners side plank is one of the most Fundamental blocks to build your strong fortress. You can chose the level you are comfortable in out of the 4 and gradually work your way up to the 4th.
If the 4th is easy start holding your plank from 30 seconds to a minute and keep increasing the duration of the plank working strength and patience.

In this video, Adarsh shares a step-by-step instructional video for activating the key muscles of the pelvic floor and midsection. The Bandha of yoga is mysterious and not easily discovered, this tutorial presents the master lock in clear language.

1. Inhale, tighten the midsection and pelvic floor.

2. While holding the breath, imagine you are going poo. (Mock poo).

3. Feel the stabilizing of the spine into the pelvis.

Once you get a feel for the mula bandha, the practice becomes more subtle without the need for mock poops. 😉

Practice several rounds until you get it!

While remaining with your conscious breath & awareness through each movement, this yoga class will have you moving through different planks, chaturangas, warrior asanas, and overall body movement. This yoga flow for strength and energy will allow you to build incredible strength in your lower body and shoulders. As you flow through each movement, remember to stay connected to your breath. Anytime the yoga poses become challenging, taking that extra breath of oxygen to re-generate your cells, and muscular stamina will be crucial.
Remember to be patient with your body and never force any posture. This yoga class is geared for more intermediate level yogis so if you are new to yoga, take as many modifications as you need. Do your best and never force anything. Simply surrender to the idea that you are exactly where you are supposed to be, and that with time, patience, dedication, and hard work your body will naturally respond and increase in flexibility, strength, stamina, and endurance.

So roll out that mat. Work hard and have fun.
